LA MARGARITA

For the Badalona exhibition, Andrés D. Marvi has built a guitar inspired by La Perseveranda de Romanillos, which he has called La Margarita.

Andy himself comments:

“The “V-joint” neck/head assembly and the rosette were a challenge for me, they caught my attention. For the purflings I have been inspired by  La Perseveranda, but since I like curly maple a lot, I have also used it. For the back I’ve used four pieces of Brazilian Rosewood.”

We look forward to see La Margarita at the exhibition and being able to listen to its sound. Below you can see some photographs taken during the construction process of this guitar, a little over a month before the exhibition.
