Antígoni Goni performed her concert with two original Romanillos guitars: the Marian guitar and the mythical Medio Siglo, which had been brought from Sigüenza by Marian Harris, the luthier's widow, who attended the concert with her son, Liam Romanillos.
In José Luis Romanillos' own opinion, the Medio Siglo was the best guitar he had built in his career, both for its beauty and its sound. In fact, he never varnished it for fear of altering the sound of the instrument. Today we have been able to listen to it in Badalona and we appreciated its great acoustic quality and we have also noted that it is still unvarnished.
