With a long career, this Austrian luthier is today one of the most prestigious European guitar makers. He took several courses with Romanillos, among others in Zurich in 1984 and in Córdoba in 1992. Specialized in classical guitar.
Tobias Braun is the protagonist of a recent report in the prestigious Orfeo Magazine.
For this exhibition Tobias has built a guitar which he has called Anniversary because in 2023 he celebrates the 40th anniversary of the construction of his first guitar.
LA ANIVERSARIO
Aniversario is inspired by the guitars of Romanillos Marian and La Amistad. For its construction, Tobias has followed one of the models in the maestro's latest book, Making a Spanish Guitar.
"I have used the Torres layout for the top. I know that José liked cypress. So do I. It has a very special timbre and adds a lot of character to the sound of the instrument."
